Free Parking Clearwater

Spending the 3rd week of our holiday over at Clearwater Beach, Parking at the Hotel is $25 a day So I have found Free Parking over at Coachman Park in Clearwater. Has anyone ever parked there for an extended time, ie -Is it safe to leave the car there and get a cab over the bridge to the Hotel as this would save us over $120 in Parking Charges after taking off the cost of a cab both ways. Thanks for any help and advice

No idea if it's safe. Not something I would do tbh, I'd be worried about leaving it.

Clearwater gets very busy and I would think an unattended car would attract the wrong kinda people.

Can you try and negotiate a reduced price with the hotel?

So, everytime you need the car you'd have to get a taxi to pick it up? Are you sure you want the hassle?

Traffic across the bridge into Clearwater beach regularly gets gridlocked and the traffic jam can go all the way across the bridge which would mean your taxi fare would be huge.

As Bella9 says we used to negotiate with the hotel for a reduced car parking rate due to the length of our stay.

The park is nice btw but your car would stand out if it was there all the time.
