Port Canaveral

I am sure when we were there last( 2015) there was talk of developing Port Canaveral so it would become a visitor attraction.

However I have looked on the internet and on here and can't find anything about it.

WE'll not be going on a cruise so but know it was definitely something anyone could visit.

Any ideas, webpages I can view etc?

This has been recently added to Jetty Park

Jetty Park offers 4.5 miles of beach and is one of the only places with lifeguards on duty year round. Beach rentals are available including chairs and umbrellas, boogie boards and kayaks. Jetty Park's unique location beside Port Canaveral's ship channel provides close up views of cruise ships, cargo vessels, submarines, space industry barges and is a great viewing location for any launch.. Features include a concession stand run by local restaurant favorite Fish Lips, bike paths, a fishing pier, playground, showers and pavilion rentals. It costs $5.00 per vehicle for Brevard County residents and $15.00 per vehicle for non-residents (ID is required).
