Warner Bros or Universal
Hi All,
I am looking for your opinion. We have one day around LA (have been before and done usual touristy parts) but up until now my children have been too young to ever visit Warner Bros Studios and do the tour. They are now 8 and 12. Problem is we can either do the Warner Bros Tour (finally!) or spend a day at Universal. (we have done it before but a few years ago) Is Warner Bros worth the money? Is it worth missing out on Universal on this trip? (we can't really afford to do both either) Do those who have been with kids, did the kids enjoy it? Thanks in advance for advice.

Hey! My 2 loved it but they are into TV and film so would depend on what your kids enjoy. I would say if you’ve been to Universal before then give the WB Studios Tour a try, we had a great morning there

Like both but given your children's ages I'd go for Universal as I'm sure they'd prefer rides to the film/tv sets. Warner Brothers only takes abt 3 to 4 hours to do.

Hmmm, decisions.
Yes our DD really enjoyed Warner Bros and last year wanted to do that again over Universal. Mainly because the Big Bang Theory is now in WB and she is also a big Friends and Harry Potter fan which are still. However last time we did Universal Harry Potter World was also open, so not much new there which also influenced her decision So question would be whether there is anything new at Universal that you haven't done either in California or Florida. If not then I would definitely do WB. WB is also only part of the day, so what else would you do on that day? Have you done the Brear Tar Pits or Science Museum, or maybe Griffith Observatory. A combination may also swing it one way or the other. Other thoughts would be what else are you doing on your trip. If other theme parks are included then that would also sway our view on which one. Universal is a great theme park as you know, so there is no wrong answer here. |

We did both, really loved both but my 16 year old said he preferred Warner Studios tour followed by a hike to the back of the Hollywood sign.
