We are here now. We fly home on Sunday, we have been so fortunate with our timing, my brother and his family are visiting at Easter eek.

We were at MK this morning, we thought it seemed quieter than earlier in the week.

Best wishes to everyone.

We're here too, due to fly home on Monday to Amsterdam if the flight isn't cancelled (with the travel ban and all). Were in MK this morning too, it was definitely the quietest I have seen it all trip. We're trying to make the best of it, my 3-year-old daughter doesn't understand any of the stress my husband and I are having. Feel so sorry for everyone who's holidays are being disrupted - we're lucky that Sunday was our last park day anyhow. The atmosphere definitely seems a bit different now, we spoke to a few cast members this morning who were all still a bit shocked by the closure!

sad for any park lovers due to go to Florida now.. I know I would be gutted, but they are being sensible to close the parks in order to try and contain the virus..

Listening to a Trump news conference I suspect we’ll soon be joining our EU friends in being denied entry.

My brother was due to fly over to Canada via US on the 20th, his wife is Canadian. He called United again this evening and that’s what the guy in the call centre told him, they are thinking that now too.

I think it will be a matter of days until he closes the flights from the UK, unless there is something in it for him...

I think the politicians have this wrong. By stopping people travelling, so many peoples jobs are at risk, particularly in the travel industry and the virus will still keep spreading. I think we need to carry on as normal as possible, whilst being particularly careful about personal hygiene.

my immediate thought was is this a decision made by Disney to protect staff and guests or was it imposed on them by the government banning mass gatherings the fact that all Florida theme parks announced within a few hours that they are all closing for the same period of time suggested to me that it was a forced closure

l feel for all the people on this forum that are going to be affected by this but lets pray for sunshine and high temperatures n Orlando very soon and lets hope that this virus is like the flu virus and confirmed cases drop off as the temperatures rise.
this wont make covid-19 go away but it will buy some time to work out how best to deal with its return when things start to cool down again later in the year
