Cory Meets World per chance?
I never have, no, but it's something I'd consider. We get a lot of entertainment from some Vloggers. I always let ads run their course on channels we really like, as this will help the Vloggers earnings, but I think an occasional modest cash payment would also be appropriate to pass on our thanks. |

I watched the Lodge Guys earlier this year when they were in Orlando and also LA for five weeks. I found them informative and quite real. Someone said that they are 'tight', so what, that's why they are both retired at such an early age, have two homes and go to Orlando several times a year. They have also paid for both parents and sister and children to go on holiday too. I watch them on You Tube, I subscribe (free to do) and it is up to the individual to decide if they want to pay and become a Patron. I am not sure what sort of things they do but I have seen them have quiz nights, cooking nights, watching films altogether etc and if that's you kind of thing to do then that's fine. I wouldn't agree with some people on here saying it makes them sick when they keep asking for money, I have never ever heard them ask for money, they may say if you want to be a patron you can but they don't really push it. There's a lot of people on You Tube who do this, and as far as I'm concerned good on them but I would never pay but I don't think badly of anyone who does.

Things like Patron is a way for content makers to continue making vlogs full or part time. It is very difficult to make money just from YouTube. If it is your livelihood then you cannot do it with money from YouTube alone.

There are SO many Disney vloggers these days, that it's getting ridiculous. The problem is that most are doing the same kind of vlogging and as a result, there's very little content that's original.
I started with Tim Tracker many many years ago and have followed him ever since. I believe they're still the No.1 Disney/Universal vloggers in Orlando, but Disney have recently severed ties with them regarding some very old vlogs that were deemed inappropriate. But as their content has always been a mixture of Disney and Universal, I doubt that this development will reduce their YouTube subscription numbers. The only other vlogger I like to watch is Paging Mr Morrow, as his content is not just Park related. However, I've never sent money to any vlogger or even a Superchat to a live streamer. Live streaming seems to be increasing in popularity and I must admit that I did watch a lot of it during lock down, purely as escapism. I found myself watching That Crazy Disney Lady, ResortTV 1, Cory Meets World, Tom Does Disney and WDW News Today. But again there's only so many times you can watch people walking around Disneyworld and enjoying rides before it starts getting old. Edited at 12:58 PM. |

If people wanna give money to their favourite creators then I say go for it! Its usually free content and its a great way to support them.
Noone is forced to do it.
