I used to use credit cards but got rid of them a few years ago. It was tough at the time paying them off but now I save up for everything. I've went a bit mental this year with two hols in the states so next year we won't be going any foreign hols , even though it's going to crack me up lol.
I guess if you are the kind of person who can be sensible with credit cards then fair enough, I was rubbish with them lol...

No I'm terrible with credit cards, I've paid them off loads but mainly with loans so I've run out of choices but to pay off myself now. Do you cut back on anything to save money?

My husband stopped smoking last year so that saves about 200 a month and he doesn't drink either. But we do go for dinner etc. I've also paid off my car for 18 months now so although I could prob do with a new one the one I have works fine, it's just vanity lol. Plus we don't have kids so we don't have those expenses .

We paid credit cards off a while back - it was hard going too but I am now working full time instead of 0.5 so half of the extra cash i earn goes straight into another account. When kids stopped going to nursery that money went into same account as did car money once we'd stopped paying in off. Having said that I've just opened another credit card account (in hubby's name though haha!) to pay deposit for villa and also park tickets. Will pay that off when we get back as I get paid the day we arrive back in UK.

Maybe one day I'll be rich! x
