Wedid 5 nights last October. Yes its hell but was worth it for us. Fine going out, as is usually the case as you are excited. Jet lag afterwards on the return and not sleeping was a killer! Hey ho, you get over it after a few days or so.

The Orlando flight will never seem long again !
I tend to make sure I'm short on sleep so I will sleep on the flight and that seems to work for me. |

Our LV flight out was fine, I get very fidgety and was ready to get off. They kept us well fed and lots to drink and ice creams, they seemed to be coming around constantly it was starting to get ridiculous! Coming home was horrid, sat on the plane for a couple of hours on the Tarmac as they had a problem with the aircraft and then a long overnight journey when you can't sleep, don't want to do it again in a hurry, would love to visit California but the flight is really putting me off.

We are going to vegas in just over two weeks with virgin 1st time staying 3 nights then flying into Dallas stopover then onto Orlando. No direct flight to orlando. Can't wait sure the flight wont be that bad just time difference will make it a very long day. Got to be up at four to get to Manchester.

Is the airport at vegas as busy as mco? It took us 2.5 hours last year to get through immigration. Glad we miss that this year flying with AA from vegsas.

I remember the last time you went Dozy and that was just about 5 days at Luxor? So you know what to expect when you get there at least. In the grand scheme of things travelling to Vegas from Dublin via JFK like you did last time or via LGW I dont think will make a great deal of difference. How did you find it last time? Dont think an extra hour from Orlando will make that much difference if I am honest. Where are you staying this time if you go?
