I don't think there is much Disney can really do about this without penalising guests who genuinely need this service. It is a shame that it is used to this end but that's the way of the world. Money rules :-/

Its only a small minority that abuse the system but they hit the genuine ones hard, when they make rule changes.

Im sure this will just add to the struggles of disabled people in the future.

Completely agree, hopefully it won't be a case of the minority spoiling it for those who depend on services like GAC.

I agree I'm ashamed of both parties.

That wouldn't be fair on families with a disabled member, especially those with other children.

Do not condone this in any way but is it any different to Disney charging obscene amounts of money for VIP fastpass tours?

That's true.. which is why i think everyone in the disabled persons party should have to be present when the GAC is issued and all their names listed on it.
Then it couldn't be abused by letting random people use it.

I believe it's different, by all means if you can afford to spend all that money forking out for a VIP fastpass go for it but don't abuse a system that's intended to help individuals who genuinely need it.

Agree with you

Yes I do think it is. This is provided to make life easier for those that struggle to queue due to medical conditions. Should Disney want to charge obscene amounts of money for VIP fastpass and people silly enough to pay it well that's up to them.

Shame on them for abusing a system designed to make things a little easier for those who need it most.
