Bathroom revamp

We are having our bathroom ripped out on Monday.
This is the original bathroom that’s been in the house since we moved here in 2005.

The bath here is only a small one so we are having it ripped out and large shower in.
Having walls tiled except for in shower which will be shower panels.

Here are a few pictures and will update hopefully as the week goes on.
The company we are using re did our ensuite 7 years ago and we think it’s the same two lads who did a fab job on that.
They have the same names anyway lol.

Bathroom today .

Hey Jane!
That's a coincidence! We too are having our bathroom ripped out and revamped, in fact - just had plumber round last night to finalise the last small details - starting on 10th February , will take 2 weeks! Can't wait!

We, too, are having our bath taken out and a full length double shower (put in to the space where bath was) instead

What colours are you having?

We have decided against the ever popular grey throughout the whole room and are having a warmer 'cement' tile on walls and floor, dark grout, dark cabinetry, dark full height radiator, waterfall shower, lovely square toilet (sad that I love the toilet! )

Will look forward to following your 'before and after' story!

Exciting!

We are going to rip out what was the boys shower room I’ve never liked it but it had to be practical with 3 of them
The shower panels are going I hate them with a passion and as it’s our guest bathroom now in the granny flat it’s got to go
Good luck it’s not so bad when you have another shower room to use

Oh that sounds lovely ellen, will look forward to yours too 😃

We also didn’t go down the grey route , we did for our bedroom in December and decided didn’t want too much grey upstairs lol.

The colour of tiles says bone?
It’s a beige, light grey but not grey if that makes sense lol.

Having a wall chrome type radiator.
The wet wall is travertine
Floor tiles are a light neutral.
Hope there is enough contrast .

Toilets have changed so much Haven't they , I had no idea where to start lol .

Gorgeous! All sounds great!
We had travertine in another house and it was beautiful

Funnily enough, on the subject of grey not being actually grey - our 'cement' tile says 'Cement - grey' but is actually a warm beige-y colour too!
We want it to look warm in there!

It's the boys bathroom (main bathroom) and like yours, it is the original bathroom that was installed in the house, (back in 2004). We haven't changed it since we moved in here a few years ago as the boys were younger - say no more!
They are now on pain of death if they don't keep it immaculately now they are young adults!
