Promotion in hospitality

The very family run restaurant chain my younger daughter works for is continuing to expand and open up a subsidiary chain. Whilst many are closing down others are viable and seeing opportunities. The upshot for my daughter , who is currently a General Manager, has been that she has now been promoted to head of training for the company. The job won’t start until April as they have to fill her current role and she will have to train the newcomer.

My other daughter has also been promoted with in her insurance sector to deputy HR manager and won a management reward, vote for by staff

With the difficult times everyone is going through good things are still happening. I’m very proud of them both, neither did “university” basically worked their way yo through the ranks .
