What are your favourite salads?

I love a basic salad (leaves, seeded and diced tomato, cucumber and red onion) topped with fresh pineapple chunks, raisins and croutons. A bit of Paul Newmains ranch dressing sets it off nicely.

My favourite is a meat and potato pie chips and peas salad

We are not salad lovers but do quite like a chopped salad (fairly basic with lettuce, white cabbage, carrots, cucumber etc) with chopped avocado, glazed/candied walnuts, chopped dried apricots and warm crispy bacon. Used to be able to get a nice Hellmans coconut and lime dressing to go with it but its not been on the shelf since lockdown started.

I have a couple of favourites...

take a gem lettuce and half i, the quarter it. Drizzle with caesar dressing or salad cram or whatever dressing you like, then cover with diced tomatoes, crispy bacon and candied walnuts.

Another is baby spinach leaves, diced avocado, crispy bacon pieces, toasted pine nuts, drizzled with a french dressing.

My favourite with lasagne is equal parts chopped cucumber and tomato, with some finely sliced onion and feta cheese, french dressing to finish.
