Universal/ Hogwarts Express question

Sorry if this has been asked before but I haven't been able to find anything.

When we visit in September we are staying for a couple of night at Universal so we will be using the early admission to WWOHP. Both parks have the early admissions, Universal Studios early admission starts at 7am, and Island of Adventure starts at 8am.

I wondered whether the Hogwarts Express to IOA will start at 8am when US opens (so we can effective use the early admission in both parks)? Or will it not start until 9am when the whole of IOA opens?

the first train will depart a few minutes before the other park opens

basically you'll arrive at the other park's HP land at the same time as the guests entering that park at regular opening time

so, no, you can't transfer between parks during EE, unless it's a day where both parks have EE

Thanks, both parks are opening early which is what has confused me. But the EE in IOA starts at the time US opens to all guests so I wasnt sure how they'd stop all guests getting on the Hogwarts Express if it did run.

Hi,

Your countdown looks very similar to mine, can I ask where you got the early opening information from? I've had a look around and I cant see any published information.
