No - it was a cruise stop and we ended up there by sheer chance.
Take it you have stayed on Antigua. We have only visited on a cruise (3 times) but love it. People are amazing.

We had a home in Antigua for many years, sold it about three years ago.

I agree its the most amazing sand, I took a little bottle of it home!

Sugar Beach in St Lucia, because the snorkelling right off the beach is incredible. Like stepping into an aquarium.

We love Magens Bay on St Thomas. We never fail to be amazed when we are swimming and the birds scoop down beside us and try and swoop up fish. At the back of the beach is a nice row of trees for shade and a lovely cafe selling food and heavy on the rum cocktails.

Camels 🐪 are cool if you’ve not been in one, I defo would have gone on one of them! 😂 but I don’t remember seeing them there when I went. But to be fair it was years ago. I remember meeting a lot of lads who were pearl diving which was interesting.

I agree there are some seriously amazing beaches in Oz but I don’t remember Broome being anything to write home about.

A difficult choice. 😁 If I had to choose just one area it would be the Maldives.
We went here for the first time 35 years ago. No internet, mobile phones, tv, newspapers. Just astonishing underwater life and an amazing view of the Milky Way at night.
