So I phoned aerlingus to change my flights...I did a dummy booking which was £30 cheaper then the booking I had but they wanted to charge me £254 extra...I asked why they said that was the new price,I explained I had the dummy booking up but they say they have separate prices!

I asked where I could see the prices to change was told we can’t? How does all that work then...what a con...

Does anyone know what date Aer Lingus has cancelled flights up to and how does this go with the recommended government advice. Thanks

I'm confident that the flights will be cancelled in the next 24/48 hours. We booked a flydrive with BA but AL flights. We didn't need to pay the balance until 3 weeks prior to departure but I have to admit it was a bit annoying having to pay it last Saturday, knowing we weren't going

Received an email from Aer Lingus today saying that you can amend flights up to the 30th June or have a voucher.
I've already applied for a refund.

I’m supposed to be flying to Dublin tomorrow at 8am, my flight is still not cancelled! It is not flying from the airport, not on there departures page. I’ve even just had a health form to fill in!

Can you cancel for full refund and rebook then at the lower price?

No because flight hasn’t yet been cancelled..it’s sept and they say you can change without a fee...but as my parents are both 75 I thought it would be better to change to next March..but then got told had to pay more but web quote cheaper then original booking..
