Honestly, I didn't read Donaldfan's post as trying to tell OP how to spend their money. I read it in a silver lining sort of way, and I am guessing that's how it was meant to be read.

We're all fortunate to have been or be going to FL, many of us multiple times. So we're all in this together, no? Any of us would be sad to have to cancel a trip, let alone two. I think Donaldfan was trying to make OP feel better. Just my 2c, as they say.

I am sorry if I upset anyone. What I think it is we up north don’t have the availability of flights at reasonable prices to Florida as we used to have. I will admit I am A tad jealous But I wouldn’t deny anyone a holiday or 2 Or even 3, life is too short. Enjoy.

No upset or offence taken from any post.
I live in the north west and feel we may be back to the days of only seasonal direct flights.

I was hoping Ito extend my flights with VIrgin, thought of adding a few DVC days.
This is traditionally a non Disney trip apart from MVMCP, we are only booked at Hard Rock this year.
I’m guessing trying to contact virgin and changing dates will be a challenge as will availability with DVC - haven’t looked as the idea has just entered my head!

We also on the cancelling and booking bandwagon. lost our December trip due to Thomas Cook, then our April trip due to Covid, changed this to November. Still have a trip in September but looking to change that as soon as the flights are released for alternative dates next year. Hubby says if we are cancelled in November we are not going back and will have to start looking at European holidays instead.
