Aer Lingus schedule change

We are currently booked to go with Aer Lingus 22 Sep from Edinburgh via Dublin, outbound time from EDI has been scheduled to leave earlier. The inbound is the one I’m waiting for an email on, as the flight to Dublin from Orlando arrives after the only flight departs to Edinburgh.

Update!

DD sent us a screenshot from Aer Lingus today saying her refund (on our card) has been processed and money should be back in c card within 7 days.

Hoo blooming ray! 🙄😁

She filled the online form in at the end of July for mid Aug flights whereas I rang them and got refund within the week. Definitely ring them if they've rescheduled your flight!

Hope this helps though still waiting...

Great news for you.
I phoned Aer Lingus on 4th Augst refund agreed but still waiting.

Official notice of our Aer Lingus flights being cancelled today. So have completed the refund request form as we want the money back. Let’s see how long it takes them.

What dates were your flights please? We have flights on 19 November and are expecting cancellation at some point.

I believe they are still showing flights from the 24th October to MCO nothing before

We were due to fly on the 22 Sept to 1 Oct.

Good luck to you all and I really mean that,
I've been waiting since June 17 for my voucher or a refund-no joy.

This weekend, i'm writing to them at 2 email addresses kindly supplied by a dibber and I'm getting the paperwork together to do a chargeback.

I've attempted several calls only to be met by engaged tone or hung on for up to 30 mins and then nothing OR put back to the end of the queue when i finally appeared to get through.
No response to online refund request when I was fed up waiting for the voucher and when I finally got an agent she appeared confused and said she'd escalate my case.

Website said owing to number of claims etc there'd be a delay of up to 4weeks but its over 8weeks now and guest service complaint I made was supposed to be answered within 15 working days and nothing.

All I have are 2 different case numbers. I took to facebook/messenger and they said they'd pass on enquiry to an agent who will be in touch!
I'll believe it when i see it!

Wish I'd taken the refund now instead of the voucher BUT they have broken that agreement and my flights were cancelled/didnt fly in the end so i'm now trying to get a refund through chargeback as they have not honoured our contract.

What a saga. I just want to book elsewhere now as I'm totally disillusioned with AL.

My DD refund via the online refund form came through this week, took about 7 weeks to arrive.
Hopefully they'll catchup soon from the whole nightmare of vouchers and refunds 🤞🤞
