Dollar @ $1.30
Long time since I've seen a dollar value thread. I note that John Lewis are selling at 1.30, how much higher do you think it will go?
Have you bought lately? |

Ooh, I’m looking to buy universal annual passes and spot rate is currently 1.3219 so I’ll get close to that with my Halifax clarity. I wonder how much higher it’ll go.
Should keep me occupied for while playing the game of will it go up or down before I buy 😂 |

If I was going in the next 6 - 12 months I would definitely be looking to exchange now a % of what I was planning on taking.

Haven't bought, but have ordered a few things online and paid in dollars and it's been good that way

I wouldn't be locking in at 1.32 as that's near the bottom, with so much uncertainty because of the C word I wouldn't want to exchange whatever the rate as travel to the US next year might not even happen until late 2021. I also wouldn't want to load a prepaid type card with big sums!

Theres the US election and more importantly the result and aftermath. Probably already factored in to a certain extent but as it gets closer who knows what will happen ?
