Borrow restriction... possible points transfer?

Hi all,

In light of DVC’s borrow restrictions to 50% of points which we hadn’t clocked until trying to book, we are wondering if anyone else has tried to procure the necessary points as a transfer from another member to fill the gap? Is this possible?

I really need to get an accessible room booked ASAP and we currently have accommodation starting three days after we arrive (due to this borrow issue) so need to plug the gap... preferably at same resort.

Any ideas or experience welcome.

A transfer is definitely a solution to your issue, just bear in mind they will have to be current points and can't be banked when you get them.

How do we go about doing this? We are in the exact same situation and now have a 4 day short-fall due to the 50% borrowing restriction.

You could put a request on here to see if anyone on the Dibb would be willing to sell you points to transfer to your account.

As said earlier just remember they must be current points as you can’t use points that have been previously banked.
