HMRC - online savings details?
Can any dibbers help?
I could swear that a while back (last year or maybe even the year before!) I went online and on my personal tax page went to a link that showed a list of all the interest that I had earnt from different sources to show how they came across the amount shown on the statement. For the life of me I cannot find anything now and the amount they have estimated does not match my calculation. To save me having to ring - anyone know if I can check online? Thanks |

Can't say I have seen anything where HMRC collates your interest from 3rd parties on your behalf. They have no way of knowing.
On your self assessment (if you do one) you have to enter all the sources and amounts of interest you have received as part of your tax submission. It is then listed on that submission for that year, could it have been that? |
