Budget "inclusive" insurance through BA

Looking at booking flights and car hire through BA. It's been a long time since we last hired a car (13 years) so can anyone please confirm if we will need to purchase any additional insurance? Do we need any excess cover (SLI?) Package has CDW & TPL but not sure if we need anything else. Thank you

No BA insurance covers the main requirements unless you want to add on extras that they offer you. If you wish to avoid the hard sell join Avis Preferred either before you book or get it linked to your booking and you can go straight to garage although first timers have to go to the little booth in the garage but there is no hard sell.

I think you get all the insurance you need with Budget but unlike Avis you can't go straight to the garage.
