Will you have access to a freezer during your refurb? Could you maybe cook a few meals and put them in the freezer and then heat them up in the microwave?

Maybe pick up a cooked chicken one day and a pack of microwave potatoes. Either with some micro veg or a nice salad

Here are some great tips for meals to cook in a microwave:
bbcgoodfood/howto/gu...without-cooker

From supermarkets I like Yorkshire Provender soups - never been disappointed in them.

I also like the BOL veg pots - lots of flavour and fresh.

Thanks, I will investigate later!

Yes a cooked chicken idea is great, I think we will do that next week! Or maybe at weekend, pity costco isn't a tiny bit closer there chickens are always good and much bigger than the puny little supermarket ones... good excuse to go to krispie kreme though haha..

Cooked chicken was what I was thinking, grab some microwave fresh mash and those pots of veg that steam in the microwave, chicken wraps with the left overs with salad and microwave rice.
