I need to add to this:
Throw dog treat through open door onto lawn so that �treat loving but rain hating� dog dives after it and then close door quickly. Watch him looking at you with sad, accusing eyes until he has a wee before allowing him back in to the dry and warm.

I�ll have to try this! Our puppy keeps ringing the bell to go outside, steps outside the door, sees it�s still raining so refuses to go to the toilet and comes back in�.then 2 minutes later rings the bell again! This has been going on all day today lol 😂

One of my dogs literally will hold himself all day if he can see rain on the glass doors, he won't even ask to go out. I have to do the treat trick to get him out there and then I am shouting "DO A WEE!" through the door. Neighbours must think I am doolally... or maybe they think I am shouting it at DH...?
