I completely agree but if asked which rules apply it's the final destination. Whether you choose to follow the rules is a personal decision with very very limited risk.

As mentioned,NHS scotland told me as the final flight ends in England for me, that i follow their rules

Clearly says on Scot.Gov pages that if you've been in another country 10 days before returning to Scotland you need to have a day 2 PCR test.

Doesn't matter how you avoid it the rules are there and clear IMO. It's just down in to you if you choose to follow them or avoid to save a few quid.

Sorry that one I don't know. I'd guess England as that's the international flight.

It is one PLF for the UK, your arrive point is in England with your address as IOM.
