If you mean Lloyds, you search for a branch near you first, choose what test you want, then put your details in, choosing date and time. No payment in advance. They send an email confirming your appt.

If you are travelling on Tuesday 16th you can test Saturday onwards. Online it says 3 days before travel, the 3 days would be Sat, Sun and Mon with travel day being Tues.

Tell me if this is incorrect as this is how I have read the example on the CDC frequently asked questions page and have booked our tests for Sunday 14th, travelling on Wednesday 17th.

Edited to add: CDC page says test to be ‘no more than 3 days before travel’ and here is the blurb with example:

The 1-day period is 1 day before the flight’s departure and the 3-day period is the 3 days before the flight’s departure. The Order uses 1-day and 3-day time frames instead of 24 hours and 72 hours to provide more flexibility to the air passenger and aircraft operator. By using a 1-day and 3-day window, test acceptability does not depend on the time of the flight or the time of day that the test sample was taken.

For example, if you are fully vaccinated and your flight is at 1pm on a Friday, you could board with a negative test that was taken any time on the prior Tuesday or after. If you are not fully vaccinated and your flight is at 1pm on a Friday, you could board with a negative test that was taken any time on the prior Thursday.

Edited at 04:06 PM.

Only heard of them as found one near us when I was looking this morning. Only thing is when I clicked on more info for the fit to fly antigen test it mentioned it being an antibody test to see if you’ve had Covid before 😕

Hiya Dazed - per the CDC website for fully vaccinated you're correct hin Had to smile as their example is our circumstances, test Tuesday [hopefully] fly Friday.

Just booked 3 tests for Boots, but when I go to actually book an appointment, it wont let me.

Happened to me, trying to remember what I did last night... sign out, back in, select an option [perhaps booking], took me to a page showing my order and to 'book now'. It is there, you just have to look for it

I'm also stuck, it wants the Appointment Type selecting but there is no box.

I've DM'd Boots via Twitter but had no reply so I'm in hold to them now
