Ok. Thanks. I wonder if they would still work out cheaper having two vehicles than another taxi firm who do a vehicle big enough?

We used them last time we went it was the first time we'd tried them. We did find that Lyft was a lot cheaper for us and it was really easy to use.

We have used both and had a nice 20% discount on our first 10 rides with Lyft in 2019.

We used Lyft on our last visit and found them great. We had offers which kept the cost down. Has mentioned about a lot of the drivers work for both Lyft and Uber. Waiting times were always good. The way I looked at it was with parking at parks or resorts now $25 a day Lyft worked out better for those daily trips , but if you were wanting to do several different places in one day the cost could tot up.
But overal when you consider rental car , insurance , fuel costs I think lyft/uber still works out good value if your staying around I Drive and the parks. If you want to go further a field then i would look to hire a car for a day or two.

example of offers : groupon/coupons/lyft

We have used Uber and Lyft many times in Orlando. Always great and reliable. Lyft has a contract with Disney so they are allowed to better drop offs and collection areas, but I didnt see a difference.
We did have one issue with Uber once where the driver took a long long route, and when I checked the map of the route you could see. Reported and Uber refunded the difference.

The big difference with Uber and Lyft in the US is the use of vouchers. I googled and got several that I stacked over the holiday, like £5 of a trip or £2 of your next 3 trips etc
