Whose seen a Fanny by gaslight?

When I was a kid there was a TV series called Fanny by gaslight and I thought it was a rude programme because I didn’t know anyone called fanny (and who in their right mind would want to see a fanny by gaslight).

Has anyone see a Fanny by gaslight?

I thought the term gaslighting was a more modern one, but perhaps the name gives it away.

Nope,but I do remember my Mum shocking me once when she told me about an old woman in our village who used to be called Tip toe Annie with the elastic fanny 😳

There was a woman magician who used to get lots of things out of her f@@@y. I’m not sure why she was called a magician because everyone knew where the rabbits came from😁.

I actually don't know what gaslighting means but I also didn't know what teabagging was until I asked at a family party a few years ago The look on some of the faces and I really didn't have a clue!
