Really struggling with this series. Gave up half way through last nights episode as was too tired to follow it - it’s recorded so will watch it later.
All the timeline jumping about is making it confusing if you look away at the wrong time. I have to go by his hair & beard 😂

Glad it's not just me then! Struggling with time switches and trying to remember who everyone is. Also think it's a bit slow and what did the Hungarian politician pregnancy got to do with the storyline?

I agree with others - really struggling to know what’s going on. I’m hanging in there on the basis that previous series were so good - hope I’m not disappointed!

I have a bug bear with this and other programmes who do this. Why do they have the characters switch between languages all the time, for example, Baptise is talking to his wife in English for a few sentences, then they both switch to French, then back to English? I've seen this in other programmes too.

I’ve noticed he only really does this when he’s getting wound up and he reverts to his native tongue as he’s heated.
Or maybe this is just normal for bilingual couples / families ?

I enjoyed the series. I didn't find it hard to follow but a tad too many subtitles for my liking. I have watched so many crime programmes I don't know what to watch now..

Mare Of Eastown on Sky is one of my favourite crime dramas, Kate Winslet is brilliant in it.
