I do this all the time. My youngest and the dog get called each other’s names as well as the other name I call them both at times - little 💩 😂

Our daughter called a hair dryer a fly hairer, a fly swat a why flop and the remote a button box when she was learning to speak! We all still use these names!

When my daughter was little she used to call coat hangers ‘hookers’. I can remember school completing some dyslexia tests with her (when about 5/6) and them saying she’s called the coat hanger a hooker. It was quite a logical thing to call it to a 5 year old 😂

The OH gets her words muddled a lot, I wish I'd written them all down, often hilarious.

Last winter during a cold snap she said we needed more insulin in the attic! 😂

I call Cumberland sausages Cumbernauld sausages. Have done for years even when asking for them in the butchers. They smile but know what I mean. I’ve also almost asked for something rude when ordering a 99 from the ice cream van 🙄

Most devices are The Thingy or thingymabob, or the doo da. Or the watcha call it. The remote control is the pointy push.
