I’ve loved it. I’m not remotely sporty, but currently I have bad sciatica and I’m often wakened in the small hours by the pain. At least I’ve had something to watch at 3am!

Really enjoyed it. Didn’t think I would without crowds but its been great. The Olympics is hard to beat. I’ll miss having it on in the background.

Maybe I watch more streaming that broadcast TV, but I'm happy I managed to avoid most of it. It's so far off my radar I didn't even know it was over!

I think the only impact it had on me was Pointless was on BBC2 instead of BBC!

Our family really enjoyed the coverage, esp in the morning a great alternative to GMB! Chris Hoy is a wonderful commentator (guest) would love to see him doing much more over different genre's. He is so much more appealing than some of the poor offerings this time around! Will definetely miss it during the daytime xx

No, I am totally with you on this. I am an awe of what the athletes have achieved but I do not enjoy watching and miss normal programming. In general I think there is too much sport on the main channels we have had football, rugby tennis and then the Olympic's disrupting the schedules.

I usually feel a bit like that after Christmas, BB, but I don't feel like that now - I've really enjoyed watching the Games.

Makes me realise (again!) how hard all the athletes work out of the spotlight day-in-day-out to represent themselves and GB&NI so amazingly. It was really uplifting to watch.

(...But you do have to give yourself a chance to get into the various sports.)

ETA: Too much reality TV and depressing soaps for me the rest of the time. I much prefer the sport!
