I called AVIS today to query their cancellation policy. Whilst on the phone they offered to beat the online quote, which they did (even taking into account 8.5% Topcashback).

Booked mid May 14N mid size SUV from Portofino Bay, drop back off a MCO for £535, can cancel free uno to 24hrs before collection.

Not too bad I think…

Thank you for the tip! This worked for me this morning and they gave me a VA discount (or BA would have worked too), far cheaper than anywhere else.

I was going to add this... hopefully you cannot access via the pool area if not staying onsite!

I have checked Avis pick up from HRH for our dates and still very expensive. I feel like I have a good deal through VH/Alamo MCO-MCO.

But HRH pick up was originally my first choice. Good idea for those who get good deals!
