I have friends in Atlanta and did the drive in almost a day (we drove as far as Canaveral as we wanted to do KSC the next day) we could have pushed on and got to Orlando in one day. It wasn’t the most interesting journey and felt long but was do able.
Personally I prefer to fly it but my friends do it on a regular basis. |

Haven't tried driving, I once flew indirect and we ended up going to alanta and then going down from there (wasn't suppose to our initial stop but that's a long story). If like driving and want to see the roads/routes and towns on the way, then potentially its a option. Also depends how many of you there are, but quite likely a flight is going to be cheaper than fuel and any fees you get charged for not returning the car to the same starting point.
Personally I'd fly. I looked at driving from LA to Vegas, and all considering we just ended up flying. Edited at 03:18 PM. |

We were on our way to key West after doing of soon in Nashville and stopped overnight in Atlanta so went to the Aquarium in the morning and drove down to Davenport before stopping overnight. Not a particularly difficult drive once out of Atlanta.
