Virgin A330-200

I believe a 2nd leisure configuration A350 is due to arrive in April 22. Whether they put that as a 2nd on the LHR route or on the MAN route to replace the A330-300s will depend on demand perhaps?

Let’s hope.

The remainder 5 are due in by Jun 23 but there were pics of parts for apparently the last order. So hopefully depending on demand we may see these sooner rather than later.

But I think Virgin need to also consider their pricing.

Let’s hope with transatlantic holidays commencing soon we will see some changes.

It is suggested on another Forum that the remaining 2 x A330-200 in storage at Manchester are potential decommissioned.

These are G-VLNM and G-VWND.

Winter schedules MAN-MCO have of course changed to A330-300.

Wonder when they will update summer schedules. Expect certainly after the US traffic starts moving again.

We are flying EDI - MCO 14th May and booking / seating plan still showing the 200 but of course this may well change. I check on a daily basis just to make sure as I would hate to lose the seats we currently have.

Me too, we are the 10th from MAN and ours is still the 200.

Booked Man to Mco 18 April -2 May in UC and still showing the 330-200 configurations. Suspect will have to keep checking the manage my flight section for seating but anticipate it will be the 330-300 aircraft.

We’re flying Manchester-Orlando via Atlanta on 30/04/22 and returning Orlando-Manchester via JFK on 17/05/22 both flights are showing 330-200 does anyone have any idea what this is likely to be replaced with?

Summer 2022 schedules (from March 27th) onwards will be worked upon in time. For now, they will continue to show A330-200, but I’m pretty confident these will not operate. (Likely be A330-300 or A350-1000)

So our virgin flight in April is showing as 330 200 and we have our seats booked 40 A C and 49 H K we like this layout as it is 2-4-2 as it is just the 2 of us travelling. Do you think our plane will be changed before we leave - 25 April 22 - and if likely what would seat layout be of the (maybe) new plane?
