Uber or book transfer?
Since there be no more magic express. We need to make our own way to the hotel from the airport.
So u guys call Uber/lyft on arrival? Or pre book transfer? I’m just worry if I prebook and we run late, they just leave. ( happen before) If Uber/lyft where do they pick u up? Is there a designated area for pick up from Uber? Thanks in advance |

Yes , it’s an area directly adjacent to the taxi pick up (clearly marked from the terminal as “shared ride pick up”. )
We’ve done it several times , we order it just before we step outside as the free airport WiFi is weaker once outside but still strong enough to watch the driver’s progress towards us on the app. Never waited any more than ten minutes from order to the car arriving (and there’s seating in the pick up area) |

Mears transportation (who provided the coaches for DME) will be continuing the service from the 1st of January so you could get a estimate on their website.
Alternatively look at a couple of providers, quicksilver and skippy transportation for quotes as another option to Uber or Lyft.

I'll be using Mears Connect. Because they ran Magical Express for Disney anyway, I'm expecting they're just going to rebrand the ME area and buses and essentially run exactly the same service they did before. It's also my cheapest option as a solo traveller, currently $32 return.
Otherwise I would just use Uber/Lyft. No need to prebook, just log in to the app and order once you're through the airport and heading for the rideshare area. Edited at 11:09 AM. |
