Christmas Day: celebrating a Swedish christmas with ”julbord” at about 1pm (christmas version of Smorgasboard). Watching traditional Disney cartoons at 3pm (weird tradition in Sweden since late 60’s and it is always the exact same cartoons or its not Christmas). In Sweden presents are handed out in the evening by Father Christmas visiting your house but we save that to the 25th and instead do Christmas eve boxes. I also love we have a lot if candles lit everywhere and that my FIL always fall asleep in the chair after lunch. He couldnt visit last year and then I noticed how much I missed that part.
Christmas Day: breakfast in lounge and opening presents. Turkey served at 1pm. Feeling slightly sick in the evening from too much chocolate. Watching christmas films Boxing Day: PJ day - everyone just mooch around. I dont have to cook and everyone grabs leftovers from fridge when they want. More Christmas films. Checking out online sales.
