Weather - now?

Hi all,

Is there anyone in Florida now, who can tell me what the weather's like?

We're thinking of going this time next year but I'm worried it'll be too hot from looking at recent temperatures.

June-July is very warm but has some heavy showers most days aswell.

I went last July it was warm but a few break in the shade in the parks are great. So you wont be out in the sun all day at most parks.

We came home last week, it was very warm and most days quite humid but not unbearable. I loved it and looking at villas to go back the same time next year. But cant decide whether to do Orlando or have a beach holiday on the Gulf coast . Def not too hot

Hi, we arrived on Saturday.

Normally we prefer 2 weeks during late April to end of May but circumstances meant we have gone a bit later this year and that has meant higher temps and more likelihood of a thunderstorm as you've seen from the forecasts.

This has made the parks a bit of challenge and from some of the conversations I've overheard we are not the only Brits feeling the pace.

We've been in July and its not that much worse than it is now, I know someone will chip in and tell you its even hotter (and it is) but when you reach your limit - that's it.

So if you're doing the parks, especially Disney then it may be too hot but if you're planning on something more relaxing then you should be fine.

We have been here nearly two weeks - last few days have been especially hot with some wicked thunderstorms in the evenings! We have been at various times in the year and find April to be perfect.
Saying that although it has been very hot it is fine with plenty of pool time and going in places with air conditioning.
We came a few years ago end of July and did struggle a bit more with the parks.
Today it hit 35c when we left the mall! 😅

I am here now, we arrived on 19th May, the weather has been gorgeous, and still is, we have had an eat,y evening storm thus evening and yesterday lasting around 29-40 mins, I have noticed the weather getting hotter as the days go on especially the last few days

Manageable but hot..especially when the sun is out!
Had a couple of lighting storms over past couple of evenings but other than that have had fantastic weather since 20th when we arrived. 3rd visit in may and always been sunny and hot.
I'm now cooling off with a southern hurricane back at PoR !

Thanks all - will make the most of the shade/air con/chill out time by the pool and hopefully it'll be manageable. Xx
