The prices are no different midweek to weekend. We always opt for a day when the other parks are crowded (like everyone else on here). This year we’ve booked it for our middle Saturday.

Snap! We arrive on the Saturday so thought we might pop in to Universal for opening on Sunday morning (we know it will be packed) then chill and shopping before DC on Monday.

Thanks everyone, your replies are so helpful!
I definitely think we will do it on a Saturday, the first one of our holiday. We are going August 2020 so are just in the process of trying to map out what to do on each day. We have time to shuffle things around before we book.
Thanks

I’m seriously considering changing our booking to the day Star Wars GE is meant to open just to avoid the madness (we are currently booked at DC on 30 August). We booked our tickets on the Blue Friday deal. Does anyone know how easy it is to change dates?

What is the blue Friday deal? I haven’t heard of this! Hoping I haven’t missed something or could be something to bear in mind. Thanks!
