My last really good experience was ohana Polynesian resort. Great for my fireworks if you get your booking time correct. It’s good fun good food and not stuck up like some of the so called top restaurants.
If It was me I’d go to splitsville in Disney springs, the atmosphere is great the food is the best we have ate this year. The power salad was unbelievable. Full bar friendly servers and you can bowl on an authentic American bowling lane. Brilliant

What food do you like? How 'posh' do you want it? Do you want somewhere near the MK to remind you of it, or can yo go elsewhere? You could go full V&As for an expensive posh experience, or you could just choose a 1TS somewhere in your favourite resort so you go more for the atmosphere?

I notice you are 8 days out though, so it might be best to try and make a list and then see if you can get an ADR, it might be difficult this close to your holiday time (or you might be lucky of course )

My personal picks for somewhere nice would be V&As, Cali Grill, Citricos, Jiko, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Sanaa, or Coral Reef if you don't mind going in-park

Hi for food and a night out go to yachtsman followed by walk around the boardwalk and then into jelly rolls for the duelling pianos. Generally gets busy when parks are closing, great craic and the guys can play and sing literally anything.
Where are you staying.
On our last trip we got the bus back to DS and when we got of the cast member asked which resort we were going to and put us back on the same bus straight to OKW. 15 mins for trip back, Disney magic experience and great customer service

Victoria and Albert at the grand or California grill at the contemporary are both lovely but they are expensive but great for special occasion

The Bull and Bear at the Waldorf Astoria, absolutely amazing. Tim Tracker has a video of their meal there. We had a fantastic meal.
