Norwegian air help please
Hi
My DS17 is off on a school trip to Florida, yes thats a school trip They are flying with Norwegian Air, we have always flown with Virgin, so not sure of what onboard services they offer. Will he have to pay for drinks etc? Any info would be greatly received

They are fine and I much prefer them on longhaul to Virgin.
It will depend on what ticket he has. You can travel handbaggage only with no seat selection or food .. or drink You can pay an extra £25 each way for seat selection. You can pay an extra £50 each way for seat selection, hold baggage, meals and refreshments. I feel sure that there are other permutations.

The rules are different for group bookings, for instance group bookings are "selected" to sit together automatically (assuming they book earlier enough that this is possible) without incurring cost etc.
Best to ask the school as they will have been told what is included |

We enjoyed Norwegian and food and drink offered was good quality. Sounds like he is going on a fab adventure!

Thanks everyone, they are not going to Disney sadly, they are visiting Universal instead, they are all film studies A level students and looking forward to taking part in an educational programme there. DS wants to be a film actor and part of their programme is to take part in auditions and see behind the scenes.
So if anyone is at Universal next week look out for a group of kids from the Isle of Wight

If he has a flexi+ ticket a meal with drink will be included, this will be served after takeoff before landing a sandwich and drinks service is offered. He will be able to purchase additional drinks and snacks for the duration of the flight.
