We use LaQuinta Airport North. It's on Frontage road, first left out of the airport when you're on Semoran. Around $75. They have an airport shuttle. Or the Hyatt Place right across the road from LaQ.

Hi there we are here staying at the top of the 27 and the rain is very heavy with occasional lighting
The weather channel said that it will continue till about 4.30am and that there is a 40% chance of a tornado within 50 miles of central Orlando
We feel safe at the moment, we have a torch, glow sticks, water and snacks and have identified our safest place to move to
If the guy on the TV says move then we are ready, rather ironically he has a lightning tie on

Good job! Murphys Law says that because you're prepared nothing will come near you!

We've had severe thunderstorms here in Kissimmee for the last couple of hours. Lots of rain, thunder, lightening and high winds. Seems to have eased off in the last half hour, storm seems to have passed but still lots of rain. Take care if you venture out Helen.

The thunder and lightning is very severe down here in Haines and the wind is driving the rain straight across
