First Time Living The Disney Dream April 2017 - Pre Trip Report
First time doing a trip report so hope i don't waffle on and bore everyone too much. Hoping i can work this dibbreporter app to so apologises for any hiccups yet to come 😉... Hello i'm amiee (27, will be 28 when we go) i am the planner for EVERYTHING and i really enjoy it and so does my husband he just has to turn up and everything's already booked and planned. I am training to be a primary teacher and am being fairly naughty taking my boys out of school but once i qualify i will be restricted to school holidays so thought for less then half the price it was a no brainer while i had the chance. My husband is 35 (lucky man having a younger chick 😉 he works lots of hours so we really appreciate are time as a family even more so looking forward to Florida as we gave our holiday up last year to have our third and final child. Kieran who will be 6, Jacob will be 4(nearly 5) and harry will have just celebrated his 1st birthday. My mam and step dad are also joining us but they are winging all plans so have no idea how much time they will spend with us as like a true dibber i have made all ADRs and have a rough plan of what we are doing. We are concentrating on disney parks but will be getting the Legoland, Orlando eye, madam tussards and sealife pass due to recommendation and it been fairly cheap. We are flying from Manchester direct so are staying over in a local travelodge the night before, spending 6 nights at SSR with free dining then on to diamond beach villas for 7 nights (curtesy of my mams points scheme it hasn't cost anything for the villa) then a night in Miami as we are flying home from their due to it being much cheaper. We have tried to use our DDP credits wisely including character meals and normal meals so we get the best of both. I have ADRs for crystal palace which will be our first morning as thought would be a great wow where in disney moment. We have booked, trails end, saana, tusker house, coral reef, mama melrose and 2 b.o.g breakfasts. Then when in villa we will be eating offsite. I have done so much research and planning trying to make sure i have so much knowledge to make the most of the time we have. Im currently in the process of losing my baby weight iv held on to for a while and the more i lose the more food i can eat in America (well thats the theory but regardless of weight i will stuff my face) Hoping this trip report works fine and i can learn a thing or 2 before i post my trip report in April. |
