We are BIG Universal fans and don't do coasters due to my bad back.
Great things at Universal for us Minions - pre ride area is amazing and has fixed seats Shriek - oldie but goodie, ditto Terminator Mummy - But we like dark rides and hind this doesn't bang. Horror Make Up Show - we love this Simpson's - Yes it does bash around a little but we find a pint in the bar opposite after settles it down. HP.Escape from Gringotts Brilliant. It a snug seat but worth it but will throw you around MiB - This is one I find throws me around but better sitting back middle as you can't go far. HP/Diagon Alley - Totally amazing, plenty to see, shows and eat Hogwarts express - best way to travel between parks EVER Looking forward to Escape from New York and Fast and Furious opening too IOA Seuss landing. All rides are suitable. We take lots of pictures in the area, High in the Sky is great for pictures and I love a carousel any way. Poisson's Fury good for down time HP Forbidden Journey. The only ride to make Mr W travel sick but due to high walls and back no problems for my back. Not tried Kong Island I love bilge rats but it throws you around and Jurassic Park River Adventure. If you brace when you see the T-Rex the fall doesn't come as a shock Spider Man and Transformers from US. Basically the same thing and find them both OK. TEND to avoid Storm Force, Doctor Doom and Hulk as they throw me around but Mr W does them whilst I eat ice cream. Plenty of other things to do. With a bad back. Take it easy, pace yourself, think about express passes to cut waiting times and make sure you have plenty of pain killers.

Completely agree with you, Universal and IOA are well worth a visit, we prefer them now.

Excited about Disney
|
Ahh thank you! I think i will speak to my OH and see what he says as she is undecided about visiting too and i will just have to make sure i take some codiene with me in case my back does flare up.
I haven't been since 2012 so i am intrigued to see all the new changes as i probably won't be going again for a while. Perhaps if i get advice from my GP regarding my back might be the best idea. |

As a family we prefer universal islands of adventure more than Disney. So much so that this year we are not stepping foot in Disney.
