Group F Avis

Looking at booking with Avis due to the cheaper prices when splitting the rental and want an int SUV which is showing as group F (ford escape of similar). Does anyone know if group F is just int SUV and not cars?

Bear in mind the chances of finding some of those listed is nil. Most likely to be a Ford, Kia or Nissan albeit some of the others e.g. Jeep may be present.

Reckon they're big enough for 3 large cases, a couple of small ones and a buggy?

I would be happy with a Ford Escape, we had one on our last trip and found it comfy and big enough for the 3 of us.
Only doubt with for booking with Avis is not being able to choose the vehicle but for �140 saving it is worth it, I would love Alamo to drop their prices but so far doesn't look like it's going to happen.

We had 3 large cases and hand luggage in a Ford Escape and it all fitted.

We tend to book class F now. The first time we had a very new Ford Escape which we really liked but the last time we got a Dodge Journey which was fine but just not as nice. We fit 2 large cases 2 smaller and backpacks in the boot no problem and car spacious inside. We have booked this class this year again, albeit in Canada, but have had to go with Budget as Avis price doubled after Xmas and I stupidly hadn't booked.
