Can anyone recommend a taxi/shuttle service for 2 people?

We planned to take a taxi from the official rank; it is clearly posted & manned by officials; however, that day Obama & Michelle were visiting the sights in Rome & they advised that the roads leading into the city were gridlocked due to security & road closures.
They told us to get the train into Termini instead & jump in a cab there; at least then we'd sit in traffic for a shorter journey.

Taxi from Fumicuno to Central Rome is �48 e/w. This is the official flat rate.
