Hoover dam and Grand Canyon... How?

My DH would love to visit the Hoover Dam but I really want to see the GC via helicopter. Are there any helicopter tours that do this? I have been looking but can't see anything.
Wondered if anyone else had had the same dilemma and other than spending 2 days doing this how they got around it.

We did a helicopter tour with Maverick going from Boulder City. This is about 15 minutes from the Hoover dam, so we went there after the flight. You also fly over the dam as well.

Does rely on you having a car though. And of course that is the West rim of the Grand Canyon not the South rim.

Did an early flight (think it was around 9am) with a landing, then did the Dam and was ready to head back by mid afternoon.

That's great . Will look into that. Yes we'll have a car( mid way thru road trip at this point) . Appreciate south rim is the better but not too fussed about that . Thanks for the advuce

You can drive to the Dam in about 40 mins, there is a helicopter company at the hotel just before the Dam that will fly you over the Dam for about $50 each, don't have to book just turn up.

We went to the Canyon with Papilion helicopters and flew over the Dam, Lake Las Vegas and then came back down the strip.

All the main helicopter companies do the Grand Canyon its pretty much their main business so Maverick, Papillion, Heli USA.

If you wanted to drive, the West Rim is about 2.5 hrs each way and you could stop off at the dam on the way there or back.

we flow over the dam with papilion before going to land down in the canyon for lunch. We have also driven to the dam and done the tour which is good.

We did a helicopter flight to the GC from Vegas with Sundance... approx. 45 mins flight there and then we had 45 mins down before flying back. Was amazing and worth every penny.
