wonder versus magic
Hi first cruis we went on was the Disney Wonder which was superb , The Diversions bar was very nice , but this time we went on teh magic and found the bar to be very tired and the ship we thought was not as plush as the Wonder .
anyone felt this Baz |

The Magic has only just had a refit ... perhaps that's why you found it a little tired when you were on it ? ... it was probably ready for it !

They were actually replacing carpets on teh main stairs which we thought was a bit strange as we sailed

In actual fact, I think I'm right in saying that today is her first day out of dry dock !

Can't wait to get back on magic next year.
I think it was Oct 05 we were the 1st to sail after a refit, not something I would want to do again if poss, they were still working on her all week, parts of ship roped off, strong smell of paint etc. I believe they have put flat screen tv's in all staterooms now, who watches tv on a cruise? Original question, never noticed any difference but I guess it depends when you sail on either ship and how close they are to next refit.

I love the Magic... but I do prefer Triton's to Lumiere's... just because I'm a Little Mermaid fan and love the theming!
 The mosaic in triton's is wonderful

According to the reports on Dis, The Magic sailed a quick trip Weds to today but by sounds of it, it was no where near ready!
 The pools had mercky water, lots of work still going on & a fair few people not too happy! :angry: Sails again today for a 7 nighter, lets hope they have sorted it all by now..Or at least for when we sail on 25/10! A very good reason NOT to book a cruise straight after dry dock!
