Ive just put in our dates and every single car is cheaper with Alamo as it is with Virgin... Must be a date thing.

One would assume its always going to more expensive with virgin anyway... they must have some buying power with Alamo to get it cheaper than Alamo offer themselves

We hired with Virgin/Alamo last time and they were the cheapest. Also, got a free extra driver and online check in so went straight to garage.

That's what I would have said but this time DH (usual driver) was too ill to drive anywhere for a couple of weeks. Make sure you can add someone on if necessary.

Think it's just the Easter bookings that are cheaper going through the Virgin Atlantic link. I did that last week and paid £249, rather than £400+ with AlamoBrits and UScarrental etc.
