Alamo Brits is the best value. We got an intermediate SUV for this July for £350 for 3 weeks. Have used them 4 times and they are always the cheapest. Just be sure to book through the Alamo Brits website and not the main Alamo website as u won't get the discount. Enjoy your holiday, I can't wait for ours!

Booked it in November. Just checked again, it cost £409 for us also. The £350 was for when we had originally planned to go for 2 weeks. The extra drivers etc is really good and I don't think you will get cheaper? I tried everywhere and couldn't get any cheaper.

I checked Alamo Brits and Avis last week. Avis came in cheaper than Alamo Brits for a standard SUV. Ended up paying £466 for 3 weeks 19 July until 9 August. All inclusive

I would book soon.
Most car hire companies have announced recently that they are moving to what they call "Dynamic" pricing. The net affect is that for busy times in particular, prices will likely rise steeply as you get near the time. The timeframe look like around 2-3 months out when this will start to happen. Basically they now adjust their prices based on demand. I have heard of prices doubling in that time for very busy periods with some companies.

Book with alamo.

If you see it cheaper you cancel it.

That's exactly what i have paid for July/august. Booked in January when it was £420. Now nearly £500. You get free cancellation with alamo and can amend and claim refund if prices drop.
