Car Hire

Bit of Advice please

Arriving in Orlando on the 10th Feb and looking to hire a car whilst there for a week(don't want airport pickup).

Who would you book with?
How soon would you book?
How much would you expect to pay for a week for a fullsize car?

Any help appreciated as first timers in Orlando

If staying on site at Disney I would look at Alamo / Brits to pick up at their depot on Disney property - they will pick you up from your Disney hotel. You can book straight away as they allow you to cancel but they take the full price on your card.

To book with a deposit you would need to use a broker like Rental Cars (formerly Car Hire 3000) or similar such as US renta car.

If staying offsite it is a bit trickier as you would need to check your different pick up location options near your hotel.

For a fullsize for a week in Feb I would expect to pay about £140 a week

when ive looked at car hire the last few years, alamo brits almost always comes out as one of the cheapest within a few quid. you also get 3 free additional drivers through them instead of the "normal" alamo site

this year for oct 2nd to 16th a basic car was £215 (i booked it today). assuming quidco cashback pays out, that will mean it is around £200 for two weeks. IIRC a fullsize was around an extra £50-75 for two week, so im guessing you should be able to get something for around £150 for a weeks hire. theres an alamo at disney (i think near DTD) so you can pick up from there. theres also one somewhere near i-drive from what i remember.

Hi have looked at Alamo brits thanks and just wondered how it works on Quidco as I can only seem to find the 'normal' Alamo which is a bit more pricey and if can get cashback on brits would make a decent price.
Any help appreciated
