Universal's Incredible Hulk Rollercoaster to Undergo Major Rehab

Reading about this refurb I hear there planning on replacing the whole track and building a new queue line to add a pre show area.

This is a real shame, we are going in May '16 so it will probably still be out of action, my son and I loved this ride when we went on it in 2013. These things need to be done though I suppose

We arrive 13/09 and our son-in-law was saying last weekend how much he is looking forward to the Hulk - this is his 2nd trip to Orlando - he will be gutted. A couple of months ago he asked when we are going to start planning our next trip - that will be a definite now.

This is our favourite Universal Ride, When we last went Sept 2009 there wasn't any queues so we went on 4 times in a row. Going Next May so it looks like it will be closed.

But still... lots of new things to look forward too

Not sure if it holds any weight, but apparently someone leaked to Orlando Informer that Universal is looking at glasses-less 3D tech for the new queue. It would be a great first step for a technology that's ripe for exploitation in parks.
