Hi by the time you get there 3 days is perfect. We arrived early afternoon checked in to our bb and that evening did the valley floor tour which was a great way to get our bearings and some history, this takes 2 hours. Following day walked up to the vernal falls and did some walking in the valley floor.next day easy morning then trip up to glacier point which has fantastic view across the mountains to half dome. The following morning we then drove to vegas via tioga pass which is also at 10,000 feet and a must see

On your way out of Yosemite there is some beautiful driving. We went to a place called Sonora to see some of the gold rush towns. If you have half a day sutters creek or Columbia gold town can be quite fun.
